Bypass a question that does not relate to me

Turbo Tax will not allow me to submit my forms without completing a section that does not apply to me (schedule E for rental property income). I'm being asked for Line 38(b) - REMIC EIN... but that does not apply to me at all. How do I bypass so I can e-submit my federal forms?

Bypass a question that does not relate to me

Please clarify - did you used to have a rental property?  I'm trying to figure out why the system thinks that you have a rental.

If that is the case then the system has carried the old rental forward and you will need to delete it to proceed.  That can be tricky because you have to tell the system how you disposed of all of the assets.

Thank you for your reply.

No, I have never had rental property income. (Nor royalties, partnerships, S corporations, estates, and trusts.) I'm a pretty straightforward case, so I just can't figure out why the glitch and more importantly how to bypass it.
