401K Company Stock transferred NUA - How to find Cost Basis

In July 2019 I transferred company stock from my 401k to a brokerage account via the NUA method.  I recvd the 1099R statement with the cost basis of the account at that time so that part of it is fine.  However, I have since sold some of the shares in the brokerage account but there was no cost basis showing for these shares.  How do i figure out the cost basis of these sold shares Since I was buying stock for 29 years when this was in my 401k or Is the cost basis the closing price of the stock at the time it was transferred to this brokerage account?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, that is correct, you would use that same basis unless something happens that affects the basis.

If you are reinvesting dividends, that will change the basis a little. If there is a split, or a reverse split, that will also change your basis.

Yes, the cost basis is the amount that was reported at the time of the transfer.

Thank you for your quick reply.  Just to clarify the closing price of the stock on the day of the NUA transfer (July 2, 2019) was $252.34. Is this share price now the new cost basis I use than to determine the capital gains/loss on the 250 shares sold on July 9th at price closed at $251.95?  And other lots of stock that I sold later in the year?

Thank you for your assistance.
