I received a 1099-R for my RMD but box 7 IRA/SEP/SIMPLE was not checked. All my other RMD 1099-Rs had this box checked. Is this OK or do I need it corrected?

Box 7 is actually a number or letter like a 7. Then there is the IRA checkbox. If it is not checked x then do not check it on your screen.
The IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box being unmarked on the Form 1099-R provided by the payer simply means that the type of retirement account from which that RMD was made is some type of account other than a traditional IRA. For example, 401(k) plans and pension plans are not IRAs, so distributions from these would not have the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box marked on any Forms 1099-R reporting distributions from these.
