I already e-filed my taxes. Today I received a 1099R form, there is an amount in box 1 but in box 2a (taxable amount) it is $0.00 and total distribution is checked. Do I still need to amend my taxes after I receive my refund to add this form?

Yes, you will need to amend the tax return and include the form because the IRS is also receiving the form. They will be looking for it on your tax return.

But wait until the originally filed return is fully processed before attempting to amend. This will avoid errors with the IRS.
