OPM 1099-R RMD question

NONE of the replies so far answer the question. Are the boxes checked correctly? How do you figure what to enter in the box at the bottom, "RMD AMOUNT"?

Yes, you are correct, this does not apply to an OPM pension. You can answer the first question No, none of this withdrawal was an RMD and the second question will disappear.

If these are regular periodic distributions from CSRS or FERS, the entire amount is RMD.  TurboTax is actually asking the amount that is ineligible for rollover and these distributions are never eligible for rollover.  Since you would not have rolled over any of these distributions, it really doesn't matter what answer you provide to this question.
