On my 1099-R boxes 11 First Year of Desig. Roth Contribution and 13 Date of Payment are blank. Turbo Tax won't advance unless I enter a date in each box. What do I do?

I did not designate a year for Roth contributions because I don't plan to contribute to a Roth.  I did not make any Roth contribution payments so I cannot enter a date.  Did I mistakenly enter something earlier in the program that indicates I'm buying a Roth?  If so, how do I undo it?

No, you didn't enter something mistakenly and you will have to enter your Form 1099-R as shown on the form. Please try to enter something in the boxes and then delete the entry again to see if you can proceed.

@amcguck

Are the problem boxes yellow-tan in color?

IF so, there is an x just below the lower rt corner of each to click on.

IF a bunch of other boxes are yellow-tan, you can go scroll to the bottom of the page, click on <Back>  then hit <Continue> on the prior page....and all the yellow-tan boxes may be cleared and you can make entries in only the boxes you need.
