No. You cannot claim Medicare.  The Federal Insurance Contributions Act finances Social Security and Medicare by requiring payroll withholding for most salaried workers in the United States.

Or could user be asking about Medicare premiums that are automatically taken out of his Social Security retirement check (if applicable)?

Can you please explain more.  What kind of check are you referring to?  And what aspect of Medicare are you referring to?   Premiums you are paying for Medicare?

Or are you asking about a payroll check from an employer and referring to the Medicare tax withholding?
