My 457 was over deferred for CY 2018. The $5,498 is being returned in CY 2019. How do I handle this on my current return?

Turbo Tax will not let me process with the amount as stated on my W2.  Can I just reduce it to the $18,500 since the difference is being returned in CY 19?
