Last Month Rule

I had a non-HSA health insurance plan from Jan - May 31.  Beginning June 1, I enrolled in an HSA insurance plan.  Does the Last Month Rule apply to me?

Last Month Rule

If you had HSA-eligible HDHP coverage on December 1 and no other coverage, you qualify for a full-year's HSA contribution under the last-month rule.  When you indicate to TurboTax that you had HSA-eligible coverage on December 1, 2016, TurboTax will automatically permit the full-year's contribution.
