Is there a place to put a direct payment to IRA before my pension started deducting it from my retirement.

I paid in $1650.00 direct payment to IRA. is there a place to add that?

You made a IRA contribution?  Do you have income from W2 wages?  You need earned income.  You can not contribute based on retirement income.  But you can use the retirement money to make a contribution if you otherwise qualify.  You will also need to manually enter contributions made from your pension.

You can type ira contributions in the search bar at the top and it will give you a JUMP TO link to go right to it.

Federal On left

Deductions and Credits

Then scroll down to Retirement and Investments

Traditional and ROTH IRA Contributions - Click the Start or Update button
