IRA Early Withdrawal for home purchase

I want to take out $5K from my IRA to go to the purchase of home. What documentation will I need to prove the withdrawal went to the home purchase?

Just that you put down at least that amount towards the purchase of the home within 120 days from the date of withdrawal so keep the HUD statement.

You will still pay the tax on it but you won't have to pay the 10% Early Withdrawal Penalty on it.
