If I only worked one shift 7.5 hrs on a pay period beginning 12/23/24 ending 1/05/25 and I was paid on the 1/10/25 is ok to file this on next years return not this year?

This was my first time working for this company. I'm only partime/on call for snow removal.

Yes, if you did not receive any pay until 2025 for this employer you will wait until next year to include it on your return. You should not receive a W2 for the 2024 tax year from this employer if you did not actually receive any pay until 2025.  You should receive your W-2 in 2025 and include it on your 2025 tax return.

Your income is reported when you are paid, not when you did the work.
