If i have to pay back an overpayment of unemployment that i earned in 2020 so do i answer yes to "were you required to repay umemployment benefits (uncommon)?

i recieved notifications that i didnt have to make a payment till june i do believe but it was for over payment in 020 so still unclear on what i should answer for were u required to repay unemployment benefits (uncommon)

Answer NO, as you did not repay during 2020. Any repayment in 2021 will be handled on the 2021 return that you file in early 2022.

Unemployment repayment- not sure what amount to state that I paid back since I opted for my taxes to be withheld at the time that I would be paid
