My birthday is [Pii Removed]. I sent in a request for an RMD but the company lost the form. If I take the RMD by April can I put it on next years taxes? Thanks.

If born in Nov 1946 then you turned 70 in 2016 and 70 1/2 in 2017.  The RMD is due for the year that you turn 70 1/2 unless it is the first RMD, then it can be delayed until April 1 of the year following the year that you turn 70 1/2 or in your case - April 1, 2018.

That would be the 2017 RMD.  The 2018 RMD would also need to be taken before the end of 2018.
