I have requested a state correction on my 1099r, but have not received it yet. Do I have to wait to file my taxes until I receive the correction?

I received two 1099r's from the same pension, one with the right state and one with the wrong state.  They told me the amounts need to be rolled up into one and they would correct the state that was wronly listed, but I haven't received the corrected form yet.  Do I need to wait to file until I recieve the corrected form?

I would recommend waiting until you received the corrected form to avoid to have to file an amended tax return later on.
