Incorrect. If SBTPG is able to identify the customer's correct "ultimate bank account", they are making transfers this week.

If you have not received an e-mail from Turbotax, it is either because you were not affected by the problem, or your ultimate bank account could not be identified. In either case, you will obtain a credit on your tax return instead. We don't really know how many other payments the IRS botched, they aren't answering questions, we only know about one specific issue with refund transfer.
For your stimulus payment, check the IRS here

For your 2019 tax refund, if that has not been paid, it has nothing to do with the IRS problem with the stimulus payments. Was your state tax refund paid? If so, that is verification that you at least filed a federal return. It could have been rejected (if you weren't paying attention to your emails) or maybe there is a processing delay. I would start by trying to get a 2019 transcript and see if there is one on file, it should show your reported income and claimed return with notes about when a payment was made, if any.

I think the IRS "where's my refund" web site probably won't work for 2019 any more but you could try it.
Well champ, I will reward you for a real unscripted answer, as wrong as it may be. Yes, I received my state return. For transparency sake, I made an error on my federal. Using the mobile app, I flipped the 2 and the 5. Easy mistake to make, that turbotax advertises that it should catch. I filed an amendment in September, which was accepted and processed in October. It's still being held. My state senator, and as pg today, the CEO of turbotax are "working on this" for me. I am 44 years old, and have had zero problems with turbotax for years, until this year. Something has drastically changed. This particular stimulus issue is the least of it. Every other companies customers are praising them for how they have handled this. Except for this one. That speaks volumes.
@gretch2876 Unfortunately you seem to be dealing with multiple issues, none of which originated from TurboTax. The issue regarding the stimulus payment was an IRS processing error. Rather than use the customer's real bank information, they were processing the direct deposits to a temporary account created to withhold TurboTax preparation fees. Although neither the error nor the account belongs to TurboTax, TurboTax worked as quickly as possible with the IRS to get this corrected. While deposits began to be processed on January 8 (Friday), it can take a few business days for the deposit to post to your bank account. However, in the worst-case scenario that you neither receive a direct deposit nor a check in the mail from the IRS for the stimulus payment, you will still be able to claim any stimulus you are entitled to receive as additional refund on your 2020 tax return.
The amended return situation is another matter. The IRS only last year began accepting amended returns electronically filed, which sounds to be your case, but even with that system it can still take weeks to issue any refund generated from an amended return. In addition, if the IRS determined that for whatever unspecified reason that they need to examine the return more closely, this can put the refund into a "processing" status, which, because of COVID backlogs, has taken an unfortunately long time for the IRS to fix. When they do, they will include interest on top of the refund, but it is an agonizing waiting game. The only way to get additional information is to contact the IRS, and there is (unfortunately) no guarantee that they will have any additional information at this time.
