I scanned my wife's W-2, and am receiving an error message. It says that the state ID number should be 6 digits, but it is only 5. How do I resolve this?

Might be the wrong state in the actual state selected.

The Photo/scan method of entering a W-2 is subject to massive errors....as it may misinterpret what boxes are what...or miss digits...etc..Just don't enter that way.

Delete the W-2 entirely, and go thru the process to enter it all manually, and see what happens then.
