Retirement benefits takes out $523.92 per month for PEEHIP insurance. Isn't this deductible?

I'm assuming you are retired and have form 1099-R, sometimes the form lists your premiums sometimes it doesn't... but the insurance premiums paid through retirement are after-tax, so they are tax deductible and can be entered as your medical expenses.

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Deductions and Credits
  3. Scroll down to Medical, select Medical Expenses - follow the prompts
