I just imprted my brokers 1099. The dividends are not showing on my 1040 although they are showing on the Schedule B. Anyone else have this problem

Are they qualified dividends?    Dividends can be either:

 

  • Nonqualified (ordinary), which are taxed as ordinary income, or
  • Qualified, which are taxed as long-term capital gains at a lower rate.
