I have a question. I participate in my employers 40lK program for retirement. I am a federal employee. I have elected the traditional 401K. Can I claim this?

I am not taxed on this money.  My confusion is this: When I put in my W2 info, this number was placed one of the boxes.  Am I getting double credit for this if I claim it again under another section of the tax return?  I am a federal employee and I take out 10% and my employer contributes 5% of my income.

The contributions to the 401k as already reported on your W-2 are not entered again in the section for retirement savings contributions.
