I have 2 states to report income (AR & AZ), why does the AR state pension distribution section report all pension distribution, including AZ?

Why should the software try to show both AR and AZ pension distributions in AR taxable income?

are you a resident of of AR.  if so resident states usually tax on all income and then give credit for the income taxed in the other state.    however, if you are a part year resident of both states then AR should not be taxing retirement income received while a residing in AZ.
