If the child is receiving Social Security benefits and the Form SSA-1099 they receive has their Social Security number in box 2 of the form, you Do Not enter their benefits on your tax return.

As DoninGA mentioned, if your children received social security benefits the income does not have to be included in your return.  Also, if the benefits they are receiving are because of their disability, then it is likely Suplemental Security Income (SSI), then this is not taxable to them either.  If they received a Form SSA-1099 and that was their only source of income they also do not need to report it.
