I forgot to file my 1099-g form

To add your 1099-G, you will first need to wait until your return has been accepted or rejected by the IRS.  Please keep an eye out for an email from TurboTax confirming your return status.  If you filed on paper, you will have to wait until your return has been processed and you have received your refund, if any.

If your return is rejected, then there will be a button to correct your return.  You will be able to make the required correction plus any changes to your return you wish to make (such as adding your 1099-G), before resubmitting your return.

If your return is accepted, you will only be able to correct your return by amending.  You can do this in TurboTax after your return has been processed and you have received your refund, if any.  A link to the instructions for amending in TurboTax is below.
