I want to change my answer and say I did not take a distribution from HSA and Turbo tax will not let me edit. How do I change that answer?

The amount used for medical expenses is a distribution from the HSA.  "Distribution" simply means that you received a Form 1099-SA because money left the HSA, so your answer indicating that you received a distribution (caused money to leave the HSA) is correct.  As long as you said that the distribution used entirely for medical expenses, the calculation on Form 8889 will result in none of this distribution being taxable.

The fact that you made a distribution (received a Form 1099-SA that is required to be included on Form 8889) means that you are not eligible to use the TurboTax Free edition.  Depending on your circumstance, you might be eligible to use the Free File Program provided by TurboTax:  https://freefile.intuit.com/
