First the companies have until February 1st to put those forms in the mail so if you're getting a 1099 form it's possible you just don't have it yet. However if you're entering income for a sole proprietor reporting on a schedule c you'd never have to wait for the forms to come in the mail because you should be entering in your total income from your own records. Skip the 1099 input section and put your total annual income in the general income section that comes up next. Making entries in the 1099 section is for your use only, the IRS never sees what you enter in that section ever, because they only get one total on the schedule c of all the income the business took in.
