Businesses are required to issue 1099-NEC to independent contractor's on payments over $600. If not available, you can use your deposit slips or bank statement to file your self-employment income and enter the total income on Schedule C, other income not reported on 1099-NEC.
The independent contractor's self-employment income is reported on form 1099-NEC (previously 1099-MISC) .
The form 1099-MISC is used to report: royalties ($10 or more), at least $600 of rents, prizes and awards, attorrnye's fee, and othe cash payments.

I received NEC income in 2021, but didn't get a 1099-NEC. From what I have read, I should just report the income anyway, but not sure where/how. Last year I did receive a 1099-NEC from this company, but the company changed hands in 2021 and I never received a 1099-NEC.
@Brew Shed Engineering You can still report the income without the 1099 NEC.
