i can't put in my pension info for this year. program won't show anything for 2024.

Follow the instructions in the link below and make sure to answer the follow up questions that appear after entering your tax form.   Then preview your tax return.  You should see your pension distribution on Lines 5a (total amount) and 5b (taxable amount).   The summary screen may not update until you have fully gone through the retirement section.   But the income is reported on your tax return as you enter it in TurboTax.
