I am trying to find out why the tax return for a deceased relative does not show deceased anywhere on it when printed out

Perhaps you missed a step in the interview. Early on, TurboTax asks whether the taxpayer died before filing the return. Then the word DECEASED and the date of death should appear at the top of the first page of the return.
