I am having the same issue. I have tried removing form UE for Pennsylvania but it tells me it is coming from my Federal. So I went to Federal form 2106 and tried deleting that one again I don't have a W-2 and I don't have employee expenses
but when removing the forms I still am unable to e-file because it tells me I need to fill in the UE form. HELP
To get rid of the message about PA Schedule UE, please follow these steps:
1. Delete Form 2106 on your federal return (if you haven''t already).
2. Open your PA return.
Neither of these work, desktop must have different views as you instructions don't match what I am seeing in this version. Removed 2106 in federal, also removed UE in Pa, still won't efile. Any claritiy before I do this by snail mail would be great.
You can check that federal Form 2106 and PA Schedule UE are not part of the return by going into Forms Mode. If they appear in the list of forms you can delete them.
Now make sure the forms are no longer part of the return:
Neither is listed. Where is the deductions and credits screen?
Found it and had to jump through a few hoops, but the efile worked. Now I hope it isn't rejected.
