This issue was resolved a few days ago. I recommend updating your software and going through the interview screens again for the EV credit.
If you are using TurboTax Online, the software will be updated, but if you are not seeing the updates, try clearing your cache and see if that helps.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.

If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.
