There are two ways to get to the SSA-1099 input screen.


Follow the directions below to enter your social security income.

  1. Log in and click take me to my return (unless already in).
  2. Click the Search box in the upper-right screen.
  3. Type SSA-1099 and click the "Jump To SSA-1099" link in the search results.
  4. On the next screen, select Yes and click Continue to enter your SSA-1099 form.


Follow the directions below to enter your social security income.

  1. Log in and click take me to my return (unless already in).
  2. Click the Federal tab on the left-side screen.
  3. On the next screen, scroll down to see all income.
  4. Click Show More beside "Retirement Plans and Social Security".
  5. Select Start beside Social "Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)".
