You might not get it back. You should have a 1099R for the distribution and you have to enter it as taxable income. The amount withheld when you took the distribution was an estimate. If it was an early distribution there is a 10% penalty. Even if it is not an early distirubiton, when that amount is added to your other income, you may owe additional tax.
Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
