How do I enter an ira rollover amount (Not a contribution) in Turbo Tax, that is included in Box 1 “Gross Distribution” on 1099-R ?

To enter pension and annuity Payments (1099-R)

•    Click on Federal Taxes
•    Click on Wages and Income
•    Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
•    Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
•    On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button

Then after the 1099R is entered into the TurboTax program, you will get questions asking what you did with it.

This is where you will say it was rolled over, and what type of account it went into (Roth or Traditional).
