How do I delete a Form 1099-C in Turbo Tax so it doesn't show up?

While preparing my 2022 tax return today, )March 27, 2023), I incorrectly entered my deceased wife's (died 2 years ago) Form 1099-C on my tax return. How do I delete it in Turbo Tax?

To delete that form 1099-C, please follow these steps:

1. In TurboTax, open your return
2. In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
3. On the Tools Center  page, click on Delete a form 
4. A list of forms will appear. Locate the form 1099-C and click Delete next to it.
5. On the next screen, click Delete Form
