My final 1/3 of my early distribution COVID 19 amount is not showing in my income, hasn't changed my refund(not to mention I probably shouldn't be getting a refund) & I'm still getting a message telling me to return to the 1099-R section when I complete.
I have followed the troubleshoot and another "expert" told me to just ignore it, but it doesn't make any sense. Why would the final amount not show in my income like it did for the last 2 years?

This response is for last year... I am talking about 2022 taxes.
In any case, I followed these steps & it still does not show as income in the Income section or change the refund.
The form 8915-F is filled out appropriately, yet it is not registering in the income, it continues to show $0.
A coronavirus-related distribution should be reported on your individual federal income tax return for 2020. You must include the taxable portion of the distribution in income ratably over the 3-year period – 2020, 2021, and 2022 – unless you elect to include the entire amount in income in 2020.
To post the 2022 distribution.

Line 4/5a and 4/5b will show the distribution and taxable amount without a 10% penalty.

@clover716 I deleted the previous post. This should work better.
solution posted elsewhere:
You have to delete the 2020 Qualified Distribution Worksheet. Then go back through income and revisit the retirement section.
