No, it is not taxable for your federal taxes.  Divorce decrees with alimony finalized after December 31, 2018 are not taxable to the recipient and not deductible by the payor on your federal taxes.

 

Yes, it is taxable for your CA state taxes, alimony and separate maintenance orders issued before December 31, 2025 ARE taxable to the recipient and deductible by the payor.  After January 1, 2026, they are no longer deductible by the payor or taxable to the recipient.
