To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

Military retirement income is reported the same as civilian retirement income on a federal tax return.  You enter the Form 1099-R that you received for your military retirement income.
