Does a required minimum distribution apply with a regular company retirement plan?

I receive monthly payments from a traditional company retirement plan.  Does a Required Minimum Distribution even apply to this? How should I answer the question  "Is all or part of this a RMD?"

No.  But if asked if the payments go toward the RMD say yes to make the program happy.
