I'm retired and have no taxable income.. I did receive 1099-R IRA distribution. Do I need to file a return?

Since you only mentioned the type of income you received and not the amount, take a look at the TurboTax article below to see the income filing requirements based on age and filing status. If there were any Federal or state taxes withheld from your IRA distribution, then you do need to file a return to claim any refund of those withholdings.
Do I need to file a Federal return this year?
Thanks for the response and Link.. Getting Closer??
Form 1099-R was $7K
Using Form 1040-SR Line No. 11 Adjusted Gross Income is $ 7,056.00
I am 66 Years Old as of 12/31/2020
So I am below the $14,050 requirement correct??
| Filing Status | Age on December 31, 2020 | Must file if gross income is at least |
| Single | Under 65 | $12,400 |
| 65 or over | $14,050 |
