Can't access space to input info from 1099-B on Turbotax Premier download

It's been impossible to access an area where I can input info from my 1099-B.

Only way I can get to a introductory screen titled 1099-B with the series of selections, starting with "sale of stocks, bonds and mutual funds," is to select "Federal Review" then reply that no, I still have things to input, which leads to a long list of forms, from which I select 1099-B.

When I select "1099-B" there, a 1099-B screen comes up. BUT as I select "sale of stocks, bonds and mutual funds," and click Continue, the software reverts to the "Let's finish pulling in your investment income" where my list of various entities is with other categories I've already completed, such as Interest and Dividends.

After many varied efforts, I cannot get to a space that lets me input my info from 1099-B

I'm in trouble--do I call tech support?
