Can I use the cash method of accounting?

It is an expense under Schedule C. It is listed as Inventory. It may be under Less Common Expenses.

Hi Coleen, are you saying we should use the word "inventory" in one of the expense descriptions if we are using the cash method? For instance if you are small time and make widgets, the stuff going into the widget, what's a good name for that?  Parts?
