Can I opt out of the Retirement Savings Contribution credit?

I do not want to upgrade to the Deluxe but it is making me because I qualify for the credit but qualifying does not change my refund at all, it will cost me more.

Go back to My Info and where asked for your Occupation enter Student.  Then you will not be eligible for the Saver's Credit and not need to upgrade to Deluxe.
