Yes, you can file a Tax Return for your relative. You will need to set up a separate account for this Tax return.
There are no longer any "short"
forms. Starting in 2018, everyone uses the same Form 1040, which also includes new Schedules 1 thru 6.
As you start the TurboTax interview for your relative, under the Personal Information section, you should choose "I'm preparing this return for ______ who is deceased". Next, you should enter the date of death. From here you can prepare his return as you normally would.
