Box 13 on 1099-R form from my IRA distribution is blank. Deluxe Smart Check wants block filled even if I did not pay state tax to Utah. How to override this error?

If any box in that line, 12-14 has anything in it, then Box 13 has to be filled in. You can either delete any unnecessary information in the other boxes on that line or you an fill in Box 13 with UT or another correct state code.
