Annuity Inheritance Inherited Form 1999-R

I received an inheritance distribution in all cash from my 95 year old mother. Turbo Tax is indicating RMD amount should not be $0 since it was inherited. I am not at RMD age. Does it make a difference? It is all cash, and I believe taxable? What do I put?
