TURBOTAX PREMIER 2024 ASKS ME QUESTIONS THAT THE IMPORTED FORM-1099R-- DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR STATE OF MARYLAND: I’m being asked by Turbotax 1. State ID, 2. Payer’s State No. and 3. State Distribution amount… Called Schwab FIVE TIMES   NO HELP AT ALL.… Kind of nuts I’m supposed to know this and enter into MY TT FEDERAL TAX RETURN…CAN SOMEONE PLESE HELP?

If box 14 for state withholding is empty then leave all boxes 14-16 Blank.

If box 14 has an amount and box 16 is blank put in the amount from box 2a in box 16.  If 2a is blank then put in the amount from box 1.
