a crypto trading platform is witholding my tax information from me because i cannot log in due to a region lock

hello, 

so i had used a crypto trading platform (binance . com) before they made a US version due to legal changes in crypto trading, i have transaction history from them on their now international version that i cannot get due to them region locking USA IP addresses.

i have contacted binance . com support and with it i was redirected to many login attempts i made throughout the chat that did not succeed, and per their words i cannot receive a CSV file with my transaction data because i cannot log in to my account due to a region lock per their TOS.

i tried calling the IRS and they redirected me to tax law, which ended my call because all of their info is "online now and we dont need to help you over the phone"
im very tempted to contact a lawyer but before i do that i want to know if this is illegal or could turn into a legal issue.

Try using the Tor Browser.  It makes you seem as if you are logging in from other places, typically in Europe, but sites in other countries to come up if you try repeatedly.
