73 years old. TurboTax asks Is your Roth IRA open or closed? I receive only distributions from this Roth IRA.

"I am 73, retired, and have distributions on a 1099r for the past ten years. Turbo tax asks me "Is your Roth IRA open of closed?". I have not made any contributions to this IRA and live on the distribution income. Is it OPEN or CLOSED?"

TurboTax is asking if you had a nonzero balance in Roth IRAs on December 31. A nonzero balance = OPEN.
