Solved: 401K to IRA RMD

If during 2024 I move assets from my 401k to my IRA, will I have to make 401k RMD withdrawals based on my 401k value on 12-31-23 or a different value?

Your 2024 RMD from the 401(k) is based on the 12/31/2023 value in the 401(k). This RMD is required to be completed from the 401(k) before rolling any other amounts over to an IRA.
