401(k) rollover; part was rolled into a traditional IRA , part into a Roth. TT asks an either/or question - into a Roth or not. How do I indicate the portion to the Roth and that to a traditional IRA?

I recommend you enter your 1099-R as if it were two 1099-Rs. Just spit the amounts on the actual 1099-R according to how much went into a Roth, and how much was rolled into a Traditional IRA.
